Skindred announce massive 25-date UK tour
Taking in the length and breadth of England, Scotland and Wales
Eclectic Welsh rockers Skindred have confirmed a gargantuan UK tour for the end of 2018.
Following their previously announced Halloween show in Coventry, the Newport band will play a total of 25 shows across England, Scotland and Wales culminating at Leicester O2 Academy on Saturday 22nd December.
Skindred Drummer Arya Goggin says: “Whenever we announce a UK tour we get posts from fans saying why are you not playing here, so we thought in acknowledgement of this we would try and play everywhere.
“Hopefully we will be able to add some Irish shows to the calendar too just to complete the run. Playing the UK is special to us and it’s not just about playing in the six or seven biggest cities, it is about getting out there and playing some of the smaller towns which are often starved of shows and often these make for some of the best shows we have played.
“Skindred is all about supporting the Live music industry and supporting your local music venue so we could not be more excited to be doing this tour.”
Tickets to the That’s My Jam UK Tour go on sale from Kerrang! Radio Tickets at 10am on Friday 31st August.
The tour is titled after Skindred’s current single ‘That’s My Jam’ lifted from their chart-denting seventh studio album ‘Big Tings’, which was unleashed to the world in April.
The record also spawned the huge single ‘Machine’, featuring Reef’s Gary Stringer and Motorhead guitarist Phil Campbell that was used as the theme tune to the Brian Johnson TV show ‘Cars that Rock’.
